Aquatech Scuba Schools is an instructor training school which has been operating since 2000 and is located in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

We offer low and affordable pricing on dive trips, gear rentals, and classes of all levels...from open water through instructor, with PDIC and SEI certification.

OUR COURSES

Our open water class is your first step into diving. Our class runs 32 to 40 hours for traditional classroom. If your schedule requires more flexibility we offer online classes.

Open Water Class

Nitrox is a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen, this course will teach you the rules and limitations of diving with EANx.

NITROX Diver

The Dive Rescue and Accident Management program will teach you how to recognize signs of stress in yourself and others. Current CPR / First Aid certification is required for this course.

Rescue Diver DRAM

Continue your SCUBA education with Aquatechs wide range of Specialty Courses. Taking specialties and continuing your dive education allows you to earn higher levels of diver ratings

Specialty Classes

This is a course designed to cross you over to SEI and PDIC. If you are a Dive master, Instructor, or assistant instructor, this course will teach you the Standards and procedures of SEI. All candidates will need to be in good standing with their prospective agency and actively already teaching.

Instructor Development Course (IDC)

The Divemaster Course is designed to train qualified Rescue Divers how to control, manage, and supervise groups of divers. This course provides extensive development of one's diving skills, stamina, and theoretical diving knowledge.

Divemaster

The best of the best in scuba diving. Fewer than 3% of divers attain this level which makes them an elite group. Gain the in depth knowledge and experience that will distinguish you as a leader in any diving club or group.

Master Scuba Diver

We offer affordable financing for some of our courses. With as little as $150 down we set you up on an affordable monthly finance plan. No CREDIT check required! Call for details!

We Finance

This course is an internship designed to teach you the necessary skills and knowledge to become a certified scuba instructor. In this internship you will learn stress management, public speaking, equipment repair and service, accident management, student management, and above all How to Teach effectively.

At Aquatech Scuba Schools we offer e-learning for those who want flexibility. All of our courses are available in the online curriculum. This is designed to work at your own pace for the classroom portion. When completed we will meet for some pool sessions and the to open water to complete your scuba certification.

E-Learning

This class is your next step in your scuba journey. In the OW class you learned the basics. In the advanced curriculum you will learn things such as night diving, navigation and deep diving.

Advanced Open Water

The Public Safety Diver course is the first step into this distinctive specialty for the few but elite divers.

OUR CERTIFICATION AGENCIES

Aquatech Scuba Schools has a variety of certification agencies available. Our primary agency is PDIC (Professional Diving Instructors Corporation) which started in 1969 as an Instructor College. We offer SDI (Scuba Diving International), IANTD (International Association of Nitrox and Technical Divers), TDI (Technical Diving International) & SEI (Scuba Educators International). All organizations are nationally and internationally recognized and are members of the Recreational Scuba Training Council, which sets the standards for scuba certification.
